"Based upon his ground breaking documentary Can We Do It Ourselves?: A Film about Economic Democracy, Patrik Witkowsky has demonstrated an ability to engage with some of the largest and most complex ideas of our time. Witkowsky's makes use of a Socratic methodology that de-mystifies complex ideas by posing them as probing questions to a range of people from world renowned intellectuals such as Noam Chomsky to ordinary citizens on the Swedish street. As a teacher and discussion leader, Witkowsky demonstrates a similarly disarming skill. Avoiding pronouncements and ideological baggage, he engages his audiences in a dialogue about practical alternatives and makes use of common sense thinking and questioning about how alternative economic arrangements might be structured."
